For 50 years, our client, who wishes not to be named, had been troubled by the unknown surroundings of her adoption. Although she was adopted at just under one-year-old by an amazing family, she always wondered who her biological family was. She needed to know who gave birth to her, who her siblings were, and why no one had tried to find her. She knew she had one sibling—somewhere—and knowing this made her always look twice at people with similar features to her as they passed by, wondering if they could be related.
When she first was referred to BirthParentFinder.com, she was very skeptical about how much information we would actually be able to put together for her, since she had very little information to pass to us. She was told that our firm was an amazing organization. She was also told that we have an amazing group of people with different areas of specialties ready to investigate any case… Even a case like hers.
This client worked with our team member, Julie, who is very compassionate and a great listener. Julie listened to her story and after understanding what the client's goal was, took the little information that this client had and basically put her story together like building a puzzle. Julie, a professional genetic genealogist, used our client's DNA results, and connected all the 2nd and 3rd cousins listed to figure out the identity of both birth parents.
Although this client's biological mother is no longer living, the client was able to connect with her long-lost sibling and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. They had unknowingly lived within a couple hours of each other for decades.
Now, this client finally has her answers.
Her son told her newfound biological nephew:
"Finally, as I watched her try to fill this void my entire life, I am now so overjoyed to see all the peace and happiness on my mother's face."
As our client put it best, "You can't put a price on peace of mind like this."
